What Do We Believe?

To put it plainly... we believe in Jesus!

We understand that the key to joy and success in life is to have a good relationship with God. It's a sad thing that many people do not realize they can enjoy a wonderful, open, real-time relationship with God, the one who made them and loves them deeply!

We believe in a supernatural God; a spectacular God; a God who is off-the-charts amazing.

You might say,

Oh Yeah, well, I believe in God...

While many people believe that God exists, many also believe that He is only "watching them from a distance" and has no real desire to know them personally.

Actually, God is very interested in YOU and desires for you to have a personal relationship with Him. He is actually thinking about you all the time.

He has awesome plans for your life which include all of the good things you enjoy and are interested in. He knows what all of those things are because He made you that way on purpose!

You might ask,

How can I have a personal relationship with God?

Good question!

There is only one way - through Jesus. Let me explain... In the beginning, Adam and Eve lived in perfect harmony with God and as the Bible puts it, things were "very good." However, Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Sin entered into the world and because of sin, humankind was separated from God. It's like this invisible wall went up between people and God. You see, God is pure and Holy and cannot be joined together with sin.

It makes no difference how much or how little you've sinned, this wall is still in the way. It's actually a spiritual death which will cause separation from God and His kingdom for eternity.

The Good News is...

God loves you sooo much that He made a way for you to be right with Him. 2,000 years ago He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to come to this earth and die on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin. And, He is offering this salvation to you as a free gift. All you have to do is receive it.

How do you receive this gift?

1. Admit your spiritual need, "I am a sinner."
2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross to take away your sins.
3. Repent. In other words, be willing to turn from your sin.
4. Receive, through prayer, Jesus Christ into your heart and life.

Pray: (out loud)

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Saviour.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer the wall of sin that was separating you from God has now been destroyed! You now have complete access to The Creator! Go ahead and communicate with Him... and expect Him to answer you! You can now be confident that your prayers are making it to heaven!
